Barbera cited the diminishing effects of each QE event (a point also made by 300 North Capital’s Rick Campagna). He concedes that we could ultimately see inflation return in the end, but that it may come after a nasty wave of deflation spurs the central banks to new levels of money printing – as the market appears to be yawning at current levels.
