This article from the AP speculates that farmers may be tempted to switch some plantings from corn back to soybeans this year, but that it’s too early to forecast. Beans are up huge again this morning (March @ 1236 as I type), so this wave is not showing signs of slowing down yet.

It’s all going to China! Surprise, surprise. Nice article detailing what you could probably infer – meat demand in China is increasing rapidly. It’s interesting to think about all the downstream ramifications – increased grain and water demands. The beauty of a true bull market!
